Get Your Classic Vehicle Ready for Storage with Professional Auto Detailing

Classic vehicles are more than just transportation—they’re investments, memories, and works of art. Whether it’s a vintage muscle car, a rare European sports car, or a beloved collector’s item, proper storage preparation is crucial to maintaining its value and condition.

At Total Recon MA, Picasso and our team of skilled detailers specialize in preparing classic vehicles for storage. Through professional auto detailing, we ensure your car remains protected, pristine, and ready to impress when it’s time to hit the road again.

Why Professional Auto Detailing Matters for Classic Car Storage

Many car owners underestimate the importance of professional detailing before storing a vehicle. While it may be tempting to simply park your car in a garage, dirt, dust, and environmental elements can cause damage over time. Professional auto detailing before storage offers:

• Paint and finish protection: Our detailing process removes contaminants and applies protective coatings to preserve your vehicle’s exterior.

• Interior preservation: Leather, vinyl, and upholstery are cleaned and conditioned to prevent cracking, fading, or mildew.

• Long-term value maintenance: A meticulously detailed vehicle retains its value and appeal for years to come.

• Peace of mind: With Picasso’s expertise, you know your classic car is being cared for by professionals who understand the unique needs of vintage vehicles.

At Total Recon MA, we combine years of experience with top-of-the-line detailing products to ensure your classic vehicle is truly storage-ready.

Our Storage-Preparation Auto Detailing Services

When you bring your classic car to Total Recon MA, we provide a comprehensive suite of auto detailing services designed specifically for vehicles entering storage.

Exterior Detailing

Your car’s exterior is often the most vulnerable during storage. Our team:

• Thoroughly cleans the paint, chrome, and trim

• Applies protective waxes, sealants, or ceramic coatings to shield against dust, moisture, and fading

• Ensures wheels, tires, and undercarriage are spotless and treated

This level of care protects your vehicle from scratches, corrosion, and other storage-related damage.

Interior Detailing

The interior of a classic vehicle can suffer from moisture, pests, and dust if not properly prepared. Picasso and our detailers:

• Deep-clean and condition leather, vinyl, and fabrics

• Treat carpets and mats to prevent odor or mold buildup

• Remove any contaminants that could lead to long-term interior damage

A clean and conditioned interior not only preserves your car but also makes it feel showroom-ready when you take it out of storage.

Engine and Mechanical Detailing

Even when a car is stored, mechanical components can deteriorate. Our professional detailing team ensures:

• The engine bay is cleaned and protected from corrosion

• Fluid and component surfaces are inspected and treated for storage

• Long-term cleanliness helps prevent maintenance issues when your vehicle returns to the road
